Marin Indian American Association (MIAA) is a non-profit socio-cultural organization (501c(3) approved) which was established almost two decades ago and provides a forum to explore the rich and diverse heritage of the Indian American community living in and around Marin County. Having started with a few Indian families who were passionate and motivated by the rich and diverse Indian culture, MIAA members are now continuing the legacy of our founders and serves more than 400 members living in Marin County now.

Our Mission

The Purpose of MIAA is to facilitate and host social and cultural events pertaining to the Indian subcontinent, celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent and share this rich culture with the community we now call our home and most importantly imbibe the same feeling of pride in our next generation. Our strength lies in the diversity of our members yet maintaining a clear vision and shared commitments that we make for our community.
